My 2023 Fiverr Revenue and Plans for 2024
Hey, and thank you so much for reading this edition. I hope you still remember that you subscribed to this newsletter some time ago :)
I haven’t published an update for over a year now, but the main reason I didn't do it is because I was unsure about the direction I wanted to take this newsletter.
My agency is on Fiverr, and most of my revenue comes from there, so my initial thought was to share my journey, my progress, successes, and failures, which could possibly help you with your journey as well. However, I didn’t want to limit myself to Fiverr only, as there are many other things I am passionate about in the online marketing world :D But maybe you can help me a little with the direction as well, later on, when we have more content.
Let’s get back to the topic!
Here are my Fiverr numbers for 2023:
It has not been my best year on Fiverr, but it’s definitely been one of the best years where I was able to reach 40k+ months. The last time I had consistent 40k-65k+ months was back in 2018 and 2019 before my big break and collapse on Fiverr.
My observations on why I was able to reach 40k+ per month:
Patience is key on Fiverr. Even if you feel nothing is moving, you still need to keep going.
I opened up new gigs and combined some with what I was doing before. For example, I only did Instagram growth before, but starting in 2023, I began doing content creation and posting. So, I created a gig that combines both, and therefore my order price increased by 3-4 times.
Subscription! Since Fiverr introduced a subscription feature, it has helped me a lot in signing up clients who pay consistently for 3- and 6-month subscriptions.
Re-engaging past clients. I do this whenever I finish work with a client; I try to offer them a comfortable plan that they can afford and keep them for longer.
My quality has improved, and clients come back more.
These are some of the key moments that helped me reach that goal. But in the next publications, I will be covering more about what I am planning to do to scale it further. I have some exciting strategies in place, and I truly believe everyone will benefit from them.
